THE TEENAGE MISERY LOVE GAME

She kissed him
He missed her
She wished she could take it all back
Because she felt like her life was going forever off track
She got out but it pained her
To the point where she thought something was refraining her
So she tried to get him again
He said he only wanted a friend
But she had a hidden suspicion
To find he wanted someone with his religion
She got over it fast
Even with their six month past
She was happy and free
Until he called with a plea
He wanted her love
She wanted to move on
But for some stupid reason she couldn’t say no
Like she was hit by cupids bow
But the power wore off at midnight
Leaving the jerk instead of the handsome knight
And now she is lost
Does she stay in undecided chaos or leave again and pay the cost?

The choice haunted her brain

But she had to leave him if she wanted to stay sane

He had a hidden dark side that she only knew

A hidden demon that made her fears creep threw

It was rare but rude

When she needed him the most he had the evil attitude

She would long for the comfort he would usually provide

But instead he gave the torture of an ungentle guy

And that was enough for her to leave him again

But she didn`t want to; something she would admit only to a close friend

Because in truth we all have our demons that affect others

 No one is perfect not even a loving mother

 We all make mistakes

 And she kept making it in her heartbreak

If anything one mistake would be fine

If she didn’t keep making it too many times

And in the end she was the loser of their love game

She had earned all the laughing shame

 For when she finally admitted she had a demon too

 Her own evil spirit that sometimes crept through  

He had the courage to say no

It was truly the hardest blow

For he had slayed the final dragon with the unlikely hero`s sword

But he didn’t take the heart for that was not his reward

Because they both still secretly loved each other till the end

Never admitting to the other one again

For deep down they knew

That they could never be together with all the torture they had been through

In their future one will hurt the other again from whichever one of them really moves on first

The lucky one who gets to add another player to all the hurt

The jealousy war will begin; but will end in the same chapter

And who knows maybe one day in another life or so they will be together even with all of their disasters

For that is our couple`s shining hope

But for now they are not just going to sit around and mope

Even if sometimes they both wish they could jump back to the beginning

When they were both still grinning

But it is such a shame

Because no one gets a redo in the teenage misery love game
